Steampunk Glasses

This was a fun little project I did to unwind in the midst of a bunch of exams and projects for school. I have lots of other stuff I could submit to the costumery category on DA but lately I'm just too lazy. I suppose I'll get it done eventually.

I normally don't like telling how I do things but I found the ideas to do this on the internet so the ideas aren't original to me just the synthesis of them.

The frames were made from water jug caps that were painted and had circles cut out from them
the lenses are pieces from a mountain dew bottle
The nose piece is a little bit of leftover chain from another project held in place by jewelry wire threaded through the water jug caps
It is held to my face by the wire frames from an old pair of prescription glasses cut up and bent to fit around the water jug caps

I may make a few touch ups here and there but I like how it turned out. If I make any big changes I'll try to upload another picture <3
